Butterfly Canvas with Xyron and Faber Castell

I am so excited that I got to play with some fun crafty products for the very first time. I recently got the chance to combine Xyron adhesives with Design Memory Craft Faber-Castell products.

I wanted some kind of office decor for the bookshelf in my craft room. I decided to make a mini canvas. Keep reading for a fun tutorial and instructions to make your own.

Here are the supplies that you will need:
Xyron 3" Sticker Maker
Faber-Castell Gelatos
Faber-Castell Whipped Spackle
Faber-Castell Texture Card
Mini Canvas
Canvas heart
Heidi Swapp embellishments

Step 1: Apply the Faber-Castell whipped spackle to your mini canvas.

Step 2: Use the #3 Faber-Castell texture card to smooth out the spackle and add a bit of dimension. Allow to dry completely before you move on to the next step.

Step 3: Use Faber-Castell gelatos to color a small canvas piece. I used a heart.

Step 4: Run the small heart through your Xyron 3" Sticker Maker.

Step 5: Remove the top film and the back of your heart will be full of adhesive. Adhere it to your mini canvas.

Step 6: Run your other embellishments through the Xyron Sticker Maker and place them on top of the heart piece.

Now you are all done and your project is ready to display in an office or bookshelf.

Xyron and Faber-Castell will be posting fun projects all week long. Be sure to check them out.

And for bigger projects be sure to check out the new Xyron Creative Station
It is available at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and Jo-Ann's.
