Donuts Classroom Party

I've got a fun school themed craft project for you today! This one involved donuts, stamping, and coloring. My students even helped me add some color too!

I recently had a chance to mix my Xyron products with the Paper Smooches Smarty Pants stamp set
If you are a teacher or a parent then you will simply love this set.

Here's what I made...

And here's how to make your own:

Stamp the "teacher" and "great job" onto white cardstock using your desired ink color. Then use a die to cut them into a circle shape. I also used an oval die and red cardstock to make a coordinating shape.

Here's where my students helped me color the "teacher" image. To keep this project in line with a "school theme" we used colored pencils.

Run your stamped images through the Xyron 3" Sticker Maker.

Once you peel off the top film, the back of your die cut will be full of adhesive.

Adhere each "teacher" piece to the red ovals. Add sequins, wooden pieces, or any other type of embellishment. Adhere each shape to a toothpick and stick them into your donuts.

It's always fun to adhere each "great job" sentiment to the center of colorful doilies. The doilies I used are from Michael's craft store.

Lay out your donuts and doilies on a tray. Now it's time to dig in and enjoy the treat!

My students loved this project. It was actually a reward.
They did such a great job donating spare change to feed the homeless in our community.

Head on over to Paper Smooches. They have a variety of stamp sets for all types of projects.

And be sure to check out the new Xyron Creative Station. It is now available at Michael's, Jo-Ann's, and Hobby Lobby!
