Kellie Stamps and 31 Minutes for 31 Days Project

Did you see this EXCITING news? I am honored to have been chosen to be a part of the Kellie Stamps creative team. You can read more about the team HERE !

I've got another fun thing to share today. Here is my first page for "31 Minutes for 31 Days". It's a project created by Kellie Winnell and Jessica Upton. It's a great way to help you to get a mini album completed in a short amount of time. It can be any shape, size or form. Check out the deets HERE!

After struggling with the theme of my album I've finally decided to make a "FOODIE" album. I'm always taking fun pictures of my food. My daughters tease me about it all the time.

I think I should have been a food photographer instead of a teacher. I love to style and set up my food shots before I take them. It lets me use that creative brain of mine.

Several of you are starting to ask me how to use digital stamps. Well that's an easy one. I opened my yummy taco photo into Photoshop Elements. (It's the cheaper version of PS and so easy to use).

I then opened the "happy" wording from the Kellie Stamps digital set called "I Am, We Are, You Are"
I added the wording three times in different sizes. You can also change the color hues of the wording as well.

Don't have Photoshop? I'll be doing a blog post later this week on "free" options for using digital stamps in your projects.

Now that the wording is added it's time to print out your photo. I sized it perfectly to fit into my Instagram album from We-R-Memory-Keepers

I kept the photo simple and only added a small epoxy heart embellishment from Seven Paper.

I opened more digital files into Microsoft Word and printed it out on cardstock. I then used a die to make a fun shape to fit into my pocket page. You can resize any of the files in Word too. Super easy!

I used the "Digital Gosh",  "I Am, We Are, You Are" , and "Digital Cray Cray" sets.

I added more epoxy hearts and jewels to the shape. I also slipped a Project Life Card behind the cardstock cut-out to add a bit of color.
